A turn-based Perikles game is basically unplayable in a normal manner by the current implementation.
Chat function is NOT a solution for the given problem (as others also presented).
In case of rejection again, you can even delete it from BGA as a failed project, noone will play it in turn-based mode after his first attempt.
(AFAIK most games are turn based on the site, so it should be a big deal.)
