However, trying to restore the cards had a similar effect in that it did not show the cards returning to the board, though my opponent was able to play just fine, and once it was my turn again I was also able to act.

Eventually, when I tried to play new cards onto the board this way, this also caused these issues. After refreshing that time, the bug appeared to be gone when I took cards.
